New KUOE Watch OLD SMITH 90-002 Automatic – Ivory Dial Nylon Strap

OLD SMITH 90-002 is a popular model that attracted attention after successfully raising over 13 million yen on the crowdfunding site, Makuake. It is a classic automatic military watch inspired by British military watches from 1940-1970’s. The thick Arabic numerals and hour and minute hands with an emphasis on visibility, the orange-tinged luminescent paint with a vintage feel, and the matte dial with an uneven satin finish reproduce the design of the time. Furthermore, the case size is small at 35mm. In addition, the stainless steel body is intentionally polished to add elegance to the ruggedness.
 

• The watch itself is made of high-grade 316L stainless steel, which is also used in medical equipment. It is resistant to rust and discoloration, and generates almost no metal ions that can cause metal allergies.
• The NATO strap is a high-grade specification made of finely woven high-density polyester. NATO straps tend to be casual, but they have an elegant luster that makes them useful in a wide range of situations. It also has a supple texture, making it perfect for warm weather.
